A LOT has happened in the last few years, so if you used to love my past review blog, I'm sorry, but I'm back! It's been a rocky, but adventuresome life, that's lead me through not so thriving relationships, a lot of travels, work, and oh yeah, a SURPRISE baby! (we'll get to that in a bit.) But here's a photo of her for cuteness tax purposes. 🩷
PCOS consumes 5- 6 MILLION (5-10%) of women in america alone, and I'm One that has struggled with infertility since I was 22, and had signs of it since I was 15. We will talk a lot of about my PCOS struggles, Maddison, and one of my favorite, product reviews!
A little back story of my Maddison Graceland 🩷
.. Picture this.. going to work everyday, like an ordernary grown up does, to wake up with your feet and legs the size of watermelons one Sunday, so big you can't put your shoes on, so you have to call into work and call in (Thank God) for my amazing management!
You go to 2 different Dr's, and they both prescribe you high blood pressure medicine, and water meds. (I'm sure you guessed by now, they didn't have me take a pregnancy test right? You're right. Pregnancy was the last thing on my mind, considering I struggle with infertility.
I try to walk into work (without success) but the few times that I managed, we're talking about a month total, of trying to accomplish this task, there were A LOT of hiding and crying because it hurt so bad..
I was able to FINALLY get into a 3rd DR. that one of my managers suggested I go to, as i'm sitting in the Dr's office, waiting for MORE blood pressure medication and water pills, the Dr says to me I'm about to have a stroke and they are calling the ambulance..
Me, being ME, I drove myself 30 minutes back to my home town E.R. the wait felt like forever. The month leading up to this day, I've googled my symptoms to the point I thought google would catch fire. All I could think is, I'm dying of heart failure.
Found out that I was pregnant at 7 months!! We did the stomach sound test (was supposed to be a boy because the heart rate was so high) did the ultrasound (kept passing out).. 4 hours later I having a C-section and here SHE is! My maddi, the midget mini me, that was once 4lbs 2oz. Is running around stealing my snacks, has COCOMELON, bluey, and baby shark on repeat from the time she wakes up and to the time she goes to bed, is turning 2 next month!! 🩷
For those struggling with infertility, let GOD, put it in his hands. Love hard and Pray harder.
